Thoughts: Not 8am, but I was here around 7:15am and maybe 6-7 stalls already serving customers. 齊昇美食室 SS2 Rising Kopitiam is fairly new in SS2/6, opened 4 months ago (I guess July/August 2019). A corner shop lot just next to 八号站 Restoran Station 8 (SS2/10)! The new kopitiam offers maybe around 18 stalls (some for morning/lunch sessions and some for dinner session) and likely more than 24+ types of hawker style food.
If I remember correctly: 芽菜鸡/烧蜡 Bean Sprout Chicken/Roasted, 猪肠粉 Chee Cheong Fun, 粿條汤/薄饼 Koew Teow Tng , 板面 Pan Mee, 瓦煲老鼠粉/猪肉粉 Rat/Pork Noodle, 炸酱面/客家面 Hakka Mee, 肉骨茶 Bak Kut Teh, 虾面 Har Mee, 牛腩面 Beef Noodle, 烧肉咖喱面 Roasted Pork Curry Noodle, 扁掸面 Nasi Kandar, 小炒 Xiao Chao, 鱼头米粉 Fish Head Noodle, 云吞面 Wan Tob Mee, 顿饭/汤 Steam Rice/Soup, 烧鱼 BBA Fish, 海南鸡饭 Hainan Chickeb Rice, 炒粿條 Char Koay Teow & 手工包点 Home Made Pao with a total of at least 18 stalls.
Settled for the rm$7 牛腩面(濑粉) Beef Noodle, clear beef soup and quite generous on mixed beef slices and innards, even thrown in 2 pieces of 大根 "Daigon/Radish"; soup not too salty, just to my liking! nice.
So, now with 3 kopitiam here: both 志昇茶餐室 SS2 Chow Yang Kopitiam & 八号站 Restoran Station 8 are the old timers along SS2/10 and the new kid in the block 齊昇美食室 SS2 Rising Kopitiam on SS2/6. Good news for residents near by and those on their way to work around PJ area for a stop-over breakfast.
