My dinner was "咸味海鲜可麗饼 Shore to Please", a Savory crepe at rm$23; comes with Cajun Tiger Prawn, battered Squid, butter sauteed Spinach, Caramelised Onion, Roasted cheery Tomato, Salted egg Yoke. This Savory seafood crepe, spiced up with some Cajun styled tiger prawns with a playful name "Shore to Please" is a surprise tickle to senses.
Next up is "亞當的罪 Adam's Sin", a Sweet crepe at rm13; the crepe was adorned with cinnamon apple, wholemeal crumble, fresh blueberries, salted caramel, and topped with with a scope of vanilla ice cream. An interesting piece of food art that also wasn't too bad at all.
Besides savory and sweet crepe, cakes & bakes; Strangers at 47 also offers a variety of Coffee, Tea, Juices, and Sodas. Ending the evening with a Japanese "日本焙茶拿铁 Houjicha Latte" sealed the evening with a satisfactory ending.
The Cafe takes up 3 shop lots, debut a few years ago in 2014 and have had very good reviews since then. It is a likable Cafe with good ambiance from exterior to interior. Good service by a team of young and energetic waiters and waitresses. And Food arrive to the table within a few minutes of ordering. There are maybe 5-7 eateries in this single row of shops on Jalan 17/45; MBPJ parkings are available outside the shops, I was able to park my car in-front of the shop at 7pm on a very wet evening. Behind the single row of shop lots are Seksyen 17 residential houses.
Today's food hunt was satisfying and leaving PJ Seksyen 17's "Strangers at 47" with a very good impression!
