Thoughts: Many people have written about the Hokkien Mee (KL style) by Restoran AhWa and some say it's one of the best in Klang Valley! 新青山亚华福建面 Restoran AhWa is a corner shop lot located just behind Shell Petrol Station, easily seen from the Jalan 14/48 trunk road just before traffic light exiting to Jalan 222.
When delivered to the table, you have to consume it as soon as possible while its still hot and "juicy" and don't forget mixed it all up with the chili on the side; if you wait too long, it will dry up and the "Wok Hay" gone!
I was here on a Tuesday at 6am where parking was still easy (one reason is because the other Night session Kopitiam "美景茶餐室 Restoran Mei Keng" at the other end of the row of shop lot close on Tuesdays). PJ folks who have a craving for KL style hokkien mee may also tell you that 邴元炭炒福建面 Peng Yuan Hokkien Mee, a prominent stall stationed at 美景茶餐室 Restoran Mei Keng also offers very good "Tai Lok Mee"!
Besides "Tai Lok Mee", 新青山亚华福建面 Restoran AhWa also offers a couple of snacks stalls like Balitong, Lala, Satay, Ikan Bakar, and Popiah. Interesting, this Restoran does not offer morning or lunch sessions as it only opens from 4:30pm!
