Thoughts: After yesterday's horrendous lunch experience (albeit perhaps at the wrong time visiting where the dishes were left over from the the morning session) of purportedly one of the best Nasi Kandar in Bandar Sunway's "Nasi Kandar Shaaz"; I don't think I can think of any Nasi Kandar in the near term!
Hallelujah, yesterday's Pork Rib dinner saved the day! and that giant dinner portion seems still in the digestive system the morning after. And in PJ early morning, I needed just a Teh Tarik to start the day but still ended sampling the Chapati here at, guess what "Restoran Nasi Kandar Salam" in PJ uptown. Aside the Nasi Kandar (whatever good it is), I really did like the Chapati here (an unusual breakfast choice for me) as what in mind would be usually rather hard and dry. Instead, Restoran Nasi Kandar Salam's Chapati was not just soft and moist but also warm when delivered alongside with a plate of tasty thick dhall on the side.
The 24 hours restaurant seems to start getting busy as customers of all races starts coming in around or before 8am. The corner shop lot is easily noticeable from the SS21/1's round-about; parking may not be easy after 9am but one can certainly find a seat of either indoor, outdoor, and even make-shift tables outside the shop on the road side at lest in the morning.
It did seem that many customers are ordering roti banjir, nasi lemak, and mee goreng for their breakfast! A breakfast spot worth re-visiting in the future.
