Thoughts: "Jing Ze Contemporary Asian Restaurant" is the creation of chef/owner Mr Jing Ze (Nicholas Scorpion, a Singaporean) who has culinary experience in many cities and have established dining experiences in Bali and Singapore. Mr Nicholas has now brought his passion for delivering a unique dining experience to Malaysia at a location in PJ's Seksyen 17. The restaurant takes up a corner lot with 2 floors and have both indoor and outdoor seating. The best seat in the restaurant will be in-front of the open kitchen food is prepared in front of you. The restaurant offers a clean look inside, with abstract art deco, wooden chairs and tables, quite a cozy interior.
The items sampled today are the restaurants current best seller Appetizers. All of which creative creations and each paired with unique Asian fusion sauce or marination.
The restaurant offers a changing menu every few months from Appetizers to Mains, selection of alcoholic drinks from Wine to Japanese Sake are available as well. There is also an "Omakase-like" set-menu of 6-8 items at rm$180 which definitely worth looking forward to sample in the future. Wednesday nights are "No Corkage" night as well where customers can bring their own Wine bottle without any additional Corkage fees.
