Thoughts: 顺利茶餐室 Restoran Soon Lee Coffee Shop in PJ Old Town and been has around in this old PJ neighborhood since the early 1970s and more than 45 years of history. The Kopitiam doesn't have a pretty face and parking here is more than challenging with MBPJ officers constantly rounding the area issuing summons for motorist parking along yellow lines, the rounding starts at around 10pm everyday including weekends!
Nevertheless, It is still a very popular place for office workers and neighborhood Chinese residents for its varieties and yummy choices with over 16 stalls and maybe 20+ varieties of food choices. Surveying the kopitiam and found the following: 经济饭粥 Economy Rice, 三间庄猪肉粉 Pork Ball Noodle, 淋面虾面 LamMee/HarMee, 五香薄饼 LohBak/Popiah, 鸡饭 Chicken Rice, 酿豆腐猪肠粉 CheeCheongFun YongTaoFu, 云吞面 WanTonMee, 点心 Dim Sum, 小炒 Xiao Chao, Seremban Bao 芙蓉烧包, 板面 Pan Mee, 粿條汤 Kuay Teow Tng, 炒粿條 Char Koay Teow, 香港鱼滑粉/猪肉粉/咖喱面 HongKong FishPaste Noodle/Pork Noodle/CurryMee, 客家雷茶 Hakka Lui Char, 椰酱饭 Nasi Lemak. With luck, motorist can be still find parking outside residential houses and still within 2-4 minutes walking distance only and hope for the best!
Since already had my first round of breakfast at Restoran Yi Poh, I am sampling just the Yong Tau Foo here.
The kopitiam opens as early as 6m; my next visit here should be the famous Koay Teow Tng!
