Thoughts: Last having the 印度阿榜糕 Appam was Dec 5th 2017 at Chetties Shah Alam where for me that was the chef there makes a verty good Apam (availble 7am-10am or 3pm-6pm++ or until finish). This morning, trying out the Appam here at "Prem Curry House" in Klang. Verdict: I did like it here as well (not as good as Chetties though).
While the 印度黄扁豆饼 Masala Vadai is a crispy and crushy indian fritter of Vadai variant. It is also called "Parappu Vadai" made of 印度雛豆(印度黑雞豆) Chana dal (baby chickpeas) and 孟加拉豌豆 Bengal gram! Both the ingredients seems an important staple food in Southern India.
Both Appam and Vadai are of generally Southern Indian origin (or might be Sri Lanka!), anyway perhaps somewhere there in the Southern Indian peninsular. Nevertheless, the "Ginger Tea" is a little disappointment.
"Prem Curry House" is a corner shop at Jalan Bagor (Taman Petaling), in Klang; access via the trunk road Persiaran Tengku Ampuan Rahimah just before the Hospital. Its probably only known to local residents around this area.
