Thoughts: Avani Sepang Gold Coast Resort is the first of the Minor International Pcl (Mint) venture in Malaysia and the Resort open for the first guest in 2014. 73 year old Mr William Ellwood Heinecke is an American-born Thai businessman who is the founder of Minor International Pcl.

80km+ or around 1.5 hours drive to the South of Kuala Lumpur. The resort is set along Sepang GoldCoast’s 22 kilometre shore and surrounded by the sheltered waters of Malaysia’s Malacca Straits. The resort has a mainland beachfront setting with lush gardens and a palm structure built on stilts which extends over warm shallow waters. The overwater palm features 392 contemporary Polynesian-inspired guest rooms and one, two and three bedroom villas, all with a sea view.
