Thoughts: This is one of the few remaining old temples in Klang, this particular temple is situation at Klang City Center called "巴生宗孔堂 Chong Kong Tong Temple". The Temple was founded in 1913. and thus has been around for more than a hundred years.
The Temple's founding is based on "三一教" (probably can be called "Trinity". Perhaps it will be easier for everyone to understand if it is written this way, it is 儒 Confucianism, 释 Buddhism and 道 Taoism. Confucianism is 中国儒家思想 Chinese Confucianism, Buddhism is 释就是佛教 Buddhism, and Taoism is 道就是道家思想 Taoism.
The special features of "三一教" (Trinity) is that 道顯 Taoism is revealed, 儒隱 Confucianism is hidden, and 佛藏 Buddhism is concealed. It means that on the surface it looks like a 道家寺廟 Taoist temple, but it contains 蘊含儒家精神 implicit Confucian spirit and 佛教思想是 Buddhist thought.
宗孔堂 Chong Kong Tong is also "三一教" (Trinity foundations), but it is called 宗孔堂 Chong Kong Tong in 巴生 Klang.
"三一教 Trinity Religion", also known as "三教 Three Religions" and "夏教 Xia Religion", is a religion that originated in the 明代中後期 middle and late Ming Dynasty and became popular in the late 明末清初 Ming and early Qing dynasties. It is still popular in some areas of 福建省 Fujian Province, 台灣省 Taiwan Province and some 東南亞一些國家 Southeast Asian countries. The 民間宗教 folk religion was founded by 林兆恩 Lin Zhaoen, a native of 莆田人 Putian, 福建 Fujian.
