Thoughts: This is not Shah Alam Glenmarie's famous 明記叉燒王 Restoran Meng Kee Char Siew and it is also not PJ SS2's 陳明記燒臘 Restoran Chan Meng Kee where both of them primarily offer their signature BBQ Charsiew with Rice and Wanton Mee. AND 明記家鄉小食店 Restoran Meng Kee originating from Old Klang Road, a chain of restaurants offering Chinese Dishes with rice (no fried noodles here)!

There are probably at least 9 明記家鄉小食店 Meng Kee (maybe more) and one of their latest location is now in USJ11 opened just a few days ago, I believe there used to be a Meng Kee at USJ1 but looks like it is Permanently Closed (according to Google Map):

In the 2 page colorful menu, there are quite a few seafood dishes such as 蒸魚 Steamed fish, clams (啦啦 Lala), 烏賊 squid and prawns (大頭蝦 king prawns and 虎蝦 tiger prawns). Also available are 肉類 pork dishes, 甘榜雞 kampong chicken, 豆腐類 bean curd, 蛋類 egg and 菜類 vegetables dishes, and also another interesting signature item 琵琶鴨 Pipa Duck!
Since 2007, then 37 year old 陳文財先生 Chef Mr Tan/Chan Boon Cai founded the Old Klang Road 明記家鄉小食店 Restoran Meng Kee. The restaurant offers Mr Tan and his Son 陳振毅先生 must-try Chef specialties dishes:

Today's dinner sample 3 of the 9 signature 明記 Meng Kee dishes here at USJ11. The newly opened USJ11 is a corner shop lot in a 2 row shop lot deep in the residential houses in USJ11. The restaurant is next to 金寶舊街場 Kampar Old Town Restaurant OR behind the neighborhood "真開心茶餐室 Restoran Happy & Merry Kitchen" USJ11 multi hawker stall Chinese Kopitiam. The corner shop lot was previously a Mamak shop "My Kandar Bistro" (last visit March 13.2021)
One advantage of this location is super easy parking in the evening time at USJ11 compared to the nearby Taipan area, arriving here at 6pm have to take a number as there are already a queue waiting outside the latest popular Chinese F&B destination in USJ.
