Thoughts: This temple was established in 1913 (110 years history), located along Jalan Kapar in Klang City Center. The 主要供奉神明 Main God is 三一教主 San Yi Jiao Zhu 林兆恩 Lim Xiao Xi facing the main entrance; but the temple also houses many 供奉神明 Sub Goods: 太上老君 (Tai Shang Lao Jun)

“三一教” is also called “三教” or “夏教”; this interesting fusion of teaching was thought to have began in the Middle and Late Ming Dynasty 明代中后期. The "宗教教派 Fusion Teaching" is believed to have been founded by a 林兆恩 Mr Lim Xiao Xi (also called 龍江先生 Mr Long Jiang), born in 福建莆田市 Fujian's Putian city. 林兆恩 Mr Lim Xiao Xi (AD 1517-1598) is a 哲學家 Philosophers and 思想家 Thinker in the 明朝 Ming Dynasty. At the age of 30, he abandoned the 科舉 imperial examinations and devoted himself to the study of 儒家思想 Confucianism and 王陽明 Wang Yang Ming's theory of "身心性命 Body, Mind, Life", and created the theory of "三教歸一 integrating the three religions into one" of 儒 Confucianism, 道 Taoism and 釋 Buddhism. He is the author of 36卷 36 volumes of "三教正宗統論 The Orthodoxy of the Three Religions", 勸人為善 exhorting people to be good and 反對邪惡opposing evil. His theory has a deep and wide influence, and his disciples have been around the world several times.
And even today is being practiced in 福建省 Fujian and 台湾省 Taiwan. The teaching was likely to have come with the Hokkien people to South East Asia 東南亞. Now there are many "三教祠 Three Religions Shrines" of different sizes in many places at home and abroad. One of this kind of 三教祠 is the "宗孔堂 Chong Kong Tong Temple" along Klang's Jalan Kapar!
