Thoughts: Perhaps not having enough Thai food for 2 weeks, and back in KL, Thai food again at "Black Canyon", which is an old timer in Summit USJ, easily more than 15 years (I think). I think it offers lots of Thai dishes, and also Western and Fusion. Not sure if there are any Black Canyon in Thailand, but you can find quite a few branches in Klang Valley and especially in Aeon malls, or IOI Mall or Melawati Mall.
The rm$18.90 set comes with 4 variants: Rice, Fried Rice, Fried noodle or Green Curry chicken noodle; and also comes with choice of hot or cold drinks as well as either ice cream or mini Tom Yum soup. The Green Curry chicken noodle was nice, very spicy! Thai ice Tea wasn't pleasant as it was too sweet; and Tom Yam was just the soup without any meat or seafood! The Ala-Carte dishes are priced from average of rm$11+ and quite a variety of Thai and Western dishes.
While many of its neighboring shop lots have changed hands, Black Canyon restaurant is still at the same shop lot at the Ground Floor level near to the new Family Mart. It is probably one of the restaurant in the "old" mall with a better ambiance and customer service, based on today's visit.
