Thoughts: May be one of the cheaper Hi Tea Buffet in town; its rm$50 for walk-in customers and rm$35 via the FAV App. So, ridiculous to compare this one with the rm$200++ type of Buffet around town. The Hi Tea buffet is offered only in the weekends and it is usually packed, so do come early at is opening at around 12 noon for the fresh items from the kitchen.
I suggest if calling in for reservations not to have any Window seats if there are no curtains and the heat won't be fun for a 1.5 - 2 hours dining. The Buffet is held at Oceanic Coffee House, accessible via staircase from the Main Entrance. And parking will be cheaper in the Summit Mall next to the Hotel.
For a rm$35 Buffet, don't expect too much variety! There are only 6 Mains (Fish, Tempura, Beef, Fried Rice, and something else), Fish and Beef wasn't too bad today. The cold cut section offers a limited selection of Cheese, some Sandwiches, Prawns, Mussels and some Salads. (the Prawns although wasn't too fresh but most value for money). Then, there is also one Roasted item which is Roasted chicken!
I did like the Johor Laksa and Pasta section, which both are cooked on the spot and you can have the Chef deliver to your table! The Dessert and Ice Cream section already went out of choices (gone by 1:30pm). And in the Chinese New Year period, surprise to see "Low Sang" available where its a do-it-your-self "Low Sang" experience; you pick up your own choice of the Low Sang items, request for some chop sticks for the Low Sang!
All in, not too bad and shouldn't be complaining too much for the price got for the Buffet offering.
