Thoughts: If you come here at 7am, its super challenging to find a table as I believe most "regulars" maybe are even here for Dim Sum on a daily basis as they parked themselves with their Newspapers and "Chit-Chats"; most are senior citizens probably from the Pudu neighborhood area.
Dim Sum is self service here when you pick up your choice of Dim Sum at their "Dim Sum station" at the entrance to the restaurant. I only sample one plate of their Dim Sum (average in taste but at a good price of around maybe rm$2 to rm$4+ per plate); nevertheless, when the steamed pot rice are ready, everyone seem to be going for it. At rm$6.50, I got to try their "盅仔饭 Steam Chicken Mushroom pot rice"; excellent tender chicken with a few pieces of "Lap Cheong" and fresh scallions plus mushroom, mixed it up with some kind of sauce with the steamy rice; very nice!
A Dim Sum spot worth visiting again to try out more of their Dim Sum choices and I think there is also "steam pot rice with pork ribs" as well! 德昌点心 Restoran Tuck Cheong Dim Sum may not be easily spotted if you drive around the Pudu area as it is tucked away from the trunk roads; but if you are on Jalan Landak (where the Chinese school 公民国名型华文小学 SJKC Kung Min is located), look for Jalan Kancil to find the Restaurant. Parking maybe challenging around 7am along Jalan Kancil, so finding a parking spot on Jalan Landak maybe a better choice.
