Thoughts: This is a shop that only offers one thing "Wan Ton Mee", which is just a stone throw from Jalan Pudu's Caltex Petrol station. Customers (Fans) will be at the shop around 7am booking a seat (table) and by 8am today, all tables are already filled with customers waiting for the first plate of Wan Ton Mee to be served. The wait is because the Charsiew is not ready until around 8am, I was lucky to find a table inside the shop arriving at around 7:15am. After 45min+, my plate of double Wan Ton Mee arrived with minced pork meat, several slices of freshly roasted Charsiew along with 3 larger than usual Wan Ton with soup on the side. When ordering, you can opt for the thin or thick noodle and choice of lean meat or charsiew with some "fat", also with or without the minced meat. My plate of double Wan Ton Mee was rm$8 (I think the single should be either rm$6.50 or rm$7), which is reasonably priced. Conclusion, worth the wait. Both noodle and charsiew were commendable!
Parking wise, along the trunk road of Jalan Brunei would be unlikely. But I did find some parking along Jalan Brunei Selatan which is behind the shop. I do think this Wan Ton Mee location is worth a visit and best perhaps to be at the shop around or before 7:15am to at least reserve a seat, morning coffee/teh or chinese tea (pot) already available at that time before the charsiew and noodles are ready from 8am onwards; note that 基叔云吞面家 only operates until 12 noon or whenever the noodles or charsiew are finish for the day.
