08.01.2016 Dinner
@ 福满门 Fook Muun Restaurant SS 18
11, Jalan SS 18/1B, 47500 Subang Jaya
豆椒炒排骨河粉 Black bean chili pepper pork rib kuey teow $7.80
西炒饭 Western ham fried rice $7.80
扬州炒饭 Yang Zhou Fried Rice $15
陈皮鸡 Mandaro Oren Chicken $12
Thoughts: I asked the rating from my son, we both agree it was 2 of 5. Both the western and yang zhou fried rice was ok but the kuey teow and the chicken was really overly salty, just not right!
I can't think of a reason to come back here for the same dishes, but this place was the least customers at SS 18. All other restaurants at the same row (except 得記燒臘面家) were packed. So, this was the only choice without waiting. I was thinking it was maybe people tried to come here for the other restaurant and since there are full, all ended up here! Next door 家香 unfortunately seems always full house from the main road, but perhaps really worth a try as it has good ratings from the web.
But the restaurant advertised itself as Hong Kong style Dim Sum! A search on google saw mixed reviews (mostly so so and bad) of their Dim Sum and Steamboat, which seems to be their signature dishes!
Rating: 2 / 5 (me)
Rating: 2 / 5 (son)
Rating: 1 / 5 (daughter shakes her head on disapproval)
