Thoughts: The Counter Burger is a franchise originated from California. It challenges the traditional concept of of Burger by offering the customer a checklist-style menu to built your own burger.
At $35, it is probably quite an expensive choice of a meal of just a burger. But I had McDonald's once at Venice which was over 30 years ago, it cost MYR$50 at that time. At MYR$35, unlike McD, you get to custom built your burger here at "The Counter", I have no idea of many items in the checklist and just ticked on those items I think I will like. But I asked the captain (it was possible because the restaurant was quite empty with only 1-2 tables with customers!), of what is the difference between the burger at McD compared to theirs. He confidently told me they used the highest quality beef, likely 卖花赞花香!
By the time my burger arrived, the restaurant is still almost empty at lunch time. Only one other table seated with likely tourist.
