01.12.2016 Tea Break
@ Kopitiam Ali, Muthu & Ah Hock at KL China Town
Jalan Balai Polis, China Town, Kuala Lumpur
咖啡 Kopi $2.75
烤面包 Roti Bakar $2.20
Thoughts: I would love to come back here for some real food like Nasi Lemak, Mee Soto, or their Curry Mee. But we already had some bananas, bread, chee cheong fun, duck leg wraps after the morning KL Run (for me it was more of a walk in the race, LOL!).
But the shop name "Ali, Muthu & Ah Hock", a very Malaysia multi-racial theme caught my eyes many times coming to KL. This place used to be a another famous old coffee shop, but that is all gone now!
The decor of the new Kopitiam looked like typical Malaysian back lane dining with weathered, dirty looking walls with moldy, and peeling paint. It did give that charming sense of authentic Malaysia street food culture. The typical Kopi Gao is good.
Rating: 3 / 5
