The PJ Seksyen 17 " 夜市為食街 Hawker street food" offers hawker foods at night and it should be a Dry+Wet Market in the morning time. The hawker center comes with at least 50 tables, with a high ceiling and giant fans, plus at least 15 (maybe more) hawker foods stalls.
There are 2 釀豆腐 Yong Tao Foo (YTF) stalls here; one offers YTF with Chee Cheong Fun + Curry/Soup Noodle, and another one offers YTF with rice. Dinner tonight is the latter choice where the Yong Tao Foo are make-to-order; customer pick the raw ingredients like 白豆腐 white tofu, 豆腐皮 bean curd skins, 長豆豆 long beans, 腐卜 tofu pok etc and the kitchen at the stall stuff 魚膠 fish paste to the chose ingredients, either fried or boil them. My plate today with 9 items plus rice (optional) is rm$17.70, which is less than rm$2 per YTF item; paid-got-a-number and waiting time was about 15 minutes for the Make-to-Order Yong Tao Foo. The freshly MTO YTF was excellent!
The must eat at PJ Seksyen 17 夜市為食街 hawker center ("Wai Sek Kai") are the 糖水 Tong Shui which I think is called "洪記糖水 Hong Kee Dessert" (around rm$3 per bowl), 現制釀豆腐 freshly prepared Yong Tao Foo, and yummy 油條 You Tiao/咸金餅 Ham Jim Bang! Netizens also have positive reviews on the 鷄粒炒飯 Chicken cube fried rice as well as the 咖哩麵 Curry Mee. BUT, it is hard to be disappointed with the variety and affordable hawker food in this hawker center.
The only thing here is the almost impossible MPSJ parking here anytime of the day; of course, there are paid parking inside the new Seventeen Mall (if not mistaken is rm$1 for the first 2 hours).
