Thoughts: Today's breakfast is a rm$14.20 "怡保雞絲河粉 Supreme Hor Fun Soup", the large size bowl soup noodle comes with 河粉 koay teow (hor fun), 大粒蝦雲吞 2 large prawn wanton, 蝦 1 prawn (cut in 2), and chunks of 雞絲 slice chicken in a savory prawn broth topped with some 青蔥 green onions and 炸洋蔥 fried onions. Nice, but a bit expensive! The ipoh style hor fun is offered from rm$8.30 to rm$14.20 with different variants of chicken, prawn, and wanton combinations. 

Two signature dishes of SS21's " Inside Ipoh" are the 怡保雞絲河粉 Ipoh chicken hor fun and 咖哩麵 Curry noodle. The Café opens as early as 7:30am, but parking is already impossible along SS 21/39, and I suggest to park along SS 21/1A (facing the trunk road of SS21/1); maybe parking still available around or before 9am! Otherwise, customers can also park inside Starling Mall (which I believe may still be offering 1 hour free parking)!

Annie 1 Kopitiam (20, Jalan SS 21/58) - Wanton Mee, Hakka/Curry Mee, Yong Tao Fu

Inside Ipoh (46, Jalan SS 21/39)

"Annie 1" is popular for its "萬里望 Menglembu" Wanton Mee (Menglembu is a small township in Ipoh), while as mentioned earlier that "Inside Ipoh" signature dishes are 怡保雞絲河粉 Ipoh chicken noodle and 怡保咖哩麵 Ipoh curry Mee. The 2 shops are less than 250m between each other. 

Beside the 2 signature dishes, "Inside Ipoh" also offers all day long 燒麵包雞蛋咖啡 Toast-Egg-Coffee, 怡保芽菜雞 Ipoh Ngah Choy Kai, 怡保魚丸河嘻 (I think) Ipoh Fish ball hor mee, 怡保豬腸粉 Ipoh Chee Cheong Fun, and 怡保乾咖哩麵 Ipoh Dry Curry Noodle; a good selection of Ipoh hawker foods (all from rm$8+ to rm$14+). 

Both shops are worth visiting for their Ipoh hawker foods; while "Annie 1" is a 2 shop-lot setup with a larger space and seating capacity, it's sister shop "Inside Ipoh" is a single shop lot with a more "modern-look" decoration. And Inside Ipoh must be a popular breakfast choice fore residents and office workers, as it was already filled with customers by 8am this morning! Don't mind revisiting the eatery for its basic rm$8.30 "怡保雞絲河粉 Kai See Hor Fun Soup", Ipoh curry noodles, and Ipoh chee cheong fun. BUT, the rm$10.50 "叉燒雲吞麵配水餃 Charsiew Wanton Mee" I had on 4 March.2022 at "Annie 1" (still remember it was a rainy early morning) was definitely a very good early breakfast choice at PJ Damansara Uptown. Both Shops are available for breakfast as early as 7:30am from Monday to Sunday.
