Thoughts: Probably one of the best "糖水 Soup" spot in PJ is PJ Seksyen 17's "夜市為食街 Seksyen 17 Hawker Centre". Here, "洪記糖水 Hong Kee Tong Shui" has been offering 糖水 Chinese style Tong Shui for many years here at Seksyen 17, even from before the hawker center was renovated like it is today. 洪記糖水 Hong Kee offers around 20 types of Tong Shui with prices from around rm$3 to rm$5+ per bowl, it is self-service here where customer picks up an empty bowl and go for their choice of Tong Shui; and mixing is allowed for extra costs!

The Tong Shui will go well with any savory meals from over 20 food stalls here at the Hawker Centre. Today's choice is a rm$2.80 "黑糯米 Black Glutinous Soup" (a traditional style), BUT 洪記 Hong Kee also offers modern Tong Shui like "桃膠與海燕窩糖水 Peach gum and sea bird nest tong shui".
Another popular stall (especially for take-away) is the Char Koay stall which offers several variants (at least 7 variants) of "餡煎餅 Ham Jim Beng" at rm$1.30 each as well as 油條 You Tiao (at rm$1.20 each), all freshly made at the stall.
There are 2 釀豆腐 Yong Tao Foo stall here, one offering YTF with rice and another with 豬腸粉 Chee Cheong Fun; both are equally popular. For dinner, you can't go wrong with any of the Yong Tao Foo stall here.
