Thoughts: The Shepherdoo is a long time tenant in USJ25's One City Mall (maybe since its opening, I think somewhere before 2014). Shepherdo, being the only watering hole (at least on the ground floor) is a loyal tenant while many eateries at the same floor already "tapao" and left the Mall. The restaurant offers Latin American cuisines and I am having a Mexican dish of "Mexican rice with Chicken Fajitas" which also comes with Mojito Tea for around rm$12+. The meal was serviced with Chicken Fajitas (a Texan-Mexican thing usually of beef or chicken and normally also served in wraps), seems well marinated and fried with bell peppers and lots of onions. The Mexican rice seems to be a tomato-based rice recipe, goes with the fried chicken fajitas! The rice was topped with a sunny side, plus nachos on the side with mayonnaise-tomato as its dip. I'd say, an interesting Americana-Mexican concoction. While the Mojito Tea, a Cuban thing; seems a refreshing summer drink.
Besides hard liquor and cocktails; both draught beer and bottled beerx available here, from Tiger to Paulaner, glass are rm$16 - rm$29 and bottled beers are rm$17 - rm$30. Pay 50% for a Pint of Beer, quite expensive! No Happy Hours here, except offering of promotional beers from time to time.
The Shepherdo menu seems quite extensive; not just Latin American food but also Tapas, Pizza, Burger, and Pasta. Lunch meals are quite affordable at rm$9.90, add rm$1/rm$2 for a drink.
Despite being seen as a failing mall, similar to the fate of USJ 17's digital mall; nevertheless, there will always be a big crowd here whenever there is an event (usually seems to be Malay wedding) at its Grand Ball room. Otherwise, most eateries try the luck here get busted shortly due to lack of patrons. Despite all this, One City still looks quite impressive from far along the along E11 or Elite Highway.
