Thoughts: OK, this is another Dim Sum place in Puchong. On a weekday morning, noticeably very very few customer. Maybe its not as popular as the nearby 富兴点心 Foo Hong or 圆乐 Yuen Li or the others (last count 8 Dim Sum spots in Puchong Bandar Puteri).
云来 Yun Lai, hailed from the town of Kulai, Johor, originally specializing in making traditional Bao (sampled their Signature Charsiew Bao and not too bad), but Yun Lai also offers Dim Sum with Fuchow Flavor! Their first branch away from Johor in Klang Valley is at Puchong Bandar Puteri where not just Bao and Dim Sum, here also offers Noodles as well. There are now over 20 branches in the Southern Region, not sure of another other branches nearby in Subang area!
Dim Sum prices are from rm$2.20 - rm$9 and most plates are around rm$5-$6. The Dim Sum sampled came with surprisingly quite generous portions, and even the "鲜虾肠粉 Shrimp Rice Roll" comes with 4 Rolls of "Cheong Fun" on the side with an interesting sweet sauce plus chili sauce (perhaps it is Johor style), quite different from the usual Hong Kong Cheong Fun! I wish I have the appetite to try more of their Dim Sum, but 4 plates were already my limit.
Other Dim Sum worth trying is their 招牌豆沙包 Imperial Dou Sha Bao (Red Bean) and something for the younger people -> 黄金包 Royal Golden Bun (with salted egg yolk)! From the menu, maybe also Johor Dim Sum style, I notice 一品药材鸡 Herbal Chicken Soup, 猪脚醋 Vinegar Pork, and even 佛本飘香 Golden Yam Ring, just to name a few interesting Dim Sum items from their menu. Don't mind coming back to sample other Dim Sums here at 云来点心楼 Yun Lai Dim Sum in Puchong's Bandar Puteri!
