Thoughts: my 3 plates of dim sum was just appetizer, LOL! went the the corner shop behind 龍城點心 Loong Seng shop lot. There used to be 2 corner shop lots, now only one left which is 新興隆美食中心 Restoran Sun Hin Loong on SS 2/64 and the other one is now "MagicBoo"!
The small ChaSiew Won Ton Mee here is $6.80, most other hawkers are still at $6. So, it must be good! And I wanted to try it as it seems to be the busiest hawker in the restaurant! The ChaSiew is not fantastic and instead of 煮云吞, its served with decent 炸云吞 Fried Won Ton.
Milk Tea in most shops in USJ generally at $1.80, here this shop is $2.20!
When scanning through the hawker stalls in this shop, prices seems to be higher than those at USJ or even perhaps slightly higher than some shops around KL Petaling Street. Maybe it is due to the higher rental costs in SS2. I hear that shops here now are wort $2-$3 million. And rental for corner shop lots are above $10K per month! 真是越来越“揾食艰难”啊!
