Food Thoughts: I used to not mind eating the same thing everyday for breakfast. And I remember for many years, it is every morning at Genting hawkers either the Chee Cheong Fun, Wan Ton Mee, Bread, Mee Hoon and Teh Tarik; just switching around these few choices for maybe 10 years or more.
But since my food adventuring began around 1 year ago, I have been scouting around for street food every morning. Still, once in awhile going back to my "usuals" brings back lots of memories.
As this Chee Cheong Fun/Yong Tao Foo has been managed by the Father more than 15 years here and past few years handed down to son. Both parents still helping out daily preparing the fresh Yong Tao Foo while the son manages the stall.
I have always like the curry "banjir" on the Chee Cheong Fun, usually I get quite some curry leafs on the plate as well. Always a good ending with the Teh Tarik here which is operated by another Chinese couple at the Genting hawkers lane.
Review: 6 / 10 👍😋
