Food Thoughts: Somehow the Prawn Chee Cheong Fun today was really really good, I bet it was freshly made and also not in a rush as Lunch time at 2pm wasn't too packed with customers. Prawns are fresh and the rice cake not too thick, sprinkled with chopped green onions. Everything seems to go well with that Dim Sum. No comment on the Loh Mai Kai as that's just to fill up my stomach for lunch time!
As far as I know, there is only 2 Dim Sum place in the entire USJ, one is USJ 21's 鸿豐港式点心 Hoong Foong with reasonable Dim Sum prices from $5 and another is 大港中菜 Grand Harbor Restaurant at Damen where Dim Sum prices likely 30-50% higher in prices. Many other Dim Sum shops come and go without able to survive the test of times!
A google search reveals some customers like it and some don't; typical as you can't satisfy everyone. Some people want to pay for $5 and want a $10 quality. Some people pay for $10 and don't mind a $5 quality! But I like it here as it is the nearest affordable nice Dim Sum in USJ.
