Thoughts: "Original Penang Kayu Nasi Kandar" is founded and managed by 檳城人 Penangites offering dishes which area true blue Penang Originals. Not in Penang, but the restaurant "Original Penang Kayu Nasi Kandar" started out with a stall at a coffee shop in SS2 朝陽 Chow Yang (the Penangites bought over the corner shop lot from the owner of Chow Yang whom at that time had several shot lot along SS2/10) way back in 1974 and grew to become one of the most popular Penang Heritage Cuisine restaurants in Klang Valley and Penang.
Today, from the little stall around the corner, many such eateries have evolved into much bigger establishments with some owning chains of restaurants that carry same name and Logo of "Original Penang Kayu Nasi Kandar". It has outlets like this one in USJ10, Citta Mall, Kota Damansara, Cheras, and Bangsar.

Last visit here was for a take-away Nasi Kandar on May 2nd, 2020 which was a bad experience which was probably just an unlucky day. But today, after 18 months, am more than satisfied with the excellent rm$3 "印度蛋煎餅 Roti Telur" that came with thick dhal and delicious non spicy curry.
USJ10's "Original Penang Kayu Nasi Kandar" has been in Taipan for many years and used to be a 24 hour eatery but now only offers 8am to 8pm dining hours.
