Thoughts: The exact origin of the dish is unknown, but it is believed that 亞參叻沙 Asam Laksa has originated in the 馬來西亞沿海地區 coastal areas of Malaysia among the local fishermen who assembled the dish out of available ingredients. Through history, the dish evolved into 亞參叻沙 Asam laksa that we know today. On its very core, 亞參叻沙 Assam laksa is a traditional Malaysian 魚肉酸湯麵 fish-based sour noodle soup. It is the one of the numerous varieties of laksa, popular noodle soups widespread throughout Southeast Asia. The dish consists of 瀨粉 Rice noodles (Lai fun), shredded Fish (usually 沙丁魚 sardine), and 蔬菜片 sliced vegetables, most commonly 黃瓜 Cucumber, 洋蔥 Onion, 生菜 Lettuce, and of course the strong sour flavored soup comes from lots of 蝦膏醬 Shrimp Paste.

This little kiosk called "D’Laksa" in SS16's Empire Shopping Gallery and a few more outlets in Klang Valley was found by a food enthusiast born in Penang who has a genuine love towards 檳城 Penang "亞參叻沙 Asam Laksa". Thus, the company has been established since 2012, offering not just their signature 亞參叻沙 Asam Laksa dish, but also 檳城水果羅惹 Penang Fruit Rojak, 亞參魚丸 Asam Fish Ball, and 亞參龍蝦丸 Asam Lobster Ball; from rm$5.90 to rm$7.90 per bowl.
