Thoughts: According to a newspaper article, "Ah Koong Restaurant of 亞坤純正西刀魚丸" started down south in Johor Bahru way back in 1987, and is somewhat the "Go to" place when you are craving for Fish ball noodle if you happen to be in JB as they have a few outlets in JB itself. This one in USJ9 has been around for quite a number of years ago, and there is also another outlet at the Lower Ground of USJ21's Main Place Mall.

This one in USJ9 has been around for quite a number of years ago, and there is also another outlet at the Lower Ground of USJ21's Main Place Mall.
At the USJ9 outlet, the standard menu choice are from rm$9.90 to rm$16.90 with choice of 清湯 Soup, 東炎 Tomyam or 咖哩叻沙 Curry Laksa to go with Noodle choice of 黃麵 Yellow Noodle, 米粉 BeeHoon, 河粉 Hor Fun, or 老鼠粉 Loh Si Fun; there is also a special item of "魚麵 Fish Noodle"! There are also "Exotic" fish like the "蘇眉魚 Hump Head Wrasse" which will set you back another rm$35+ or 新鮮生蠔 Fresh Oysters for rm$20/bowl. At the entrance to the shop, additional Yong Tao Fu or Seafood (fried or non-fried) toppings are also available where customer can pick to a bowl for the kitchen to prepare them.
I believe the USJ branch re-opened for Dine-in since October 1st, 2 months ago. The restaurant offers comfortable and clean Air-condition space for dine-in which is enclosed from the kitchen at the entrance. For sure, the Giant Fish Balls here are excellent (as sampled today) although there are also a variety of Fried Yong Tao Fu in the menu which also looks appetizing. While a basic bowl of Fish Noodle is already around or more than rm$10/bowl, Add-ons will setup you back at least another rm$15 - rm$20+++ ending with a breakfast meal to be around rm$30+.
