安班米饭(马来盘菜饭) Nasi Ambeng $6 🙄🙄

Thoughts: This is my 2nd try on Nasi Ambeng, at Teh Laris Cafe Seksyen 13 Shah Alam, which is near to the Shah Alam Stadium. The Cafe offers not only Nasi Lemak, Mee Rebus, Soto Ayam, but also Kacang Pool, Western morning sets for Breakfast. For Lunch, its Nasi Beriyani, Sup Tulang, Asam Pedas, and my latest crave for Nasi Ambeng!
This version of Nasi Ambeng offers the 香辣红鸡 Ayam Masak Merah (Spicy Red Chicken) which is too hard to bite (overcooked!), other sides are 咸鱼 Salted Fish (too bad I got a boney one), 爪哇炒叁巴 Sambal Goreng Jawa (the version here is 丹貝 tempeh, not too bad), 椰子丝 Serunding Kelapa (Fried shredded coconuts) is nice, also some 炒米粉 Fried Beehoon mixed with the shredded coconuts, and lastly loads of green 四角豆 kacang botol (winged beans) hiding beneath the shredded coconuts! Other than the "hard-to-bite" spicy red chicken and "boney" salted fish, still find the various combinations goes well with the rice, and I think addng half of a salted egg would have been good as well.
Thus far, Seksyen 16 Murni Sue's Nasi Ambeng in my tasting is the one to beat! But there are at least few more Nasi Ambeng in Shah Alam to try before the final verdict!
