叁峇墨鱼和墨鱼蛋 Sotong Kembang Masak Sambal (Squid) & Squid Egg Rice $17 👍😋
Thoughts: The famous Nasi Lan hails from Kedah, started its operation in Shah Alam Since May 2016. A second generation setup their business in Klang Valley to sell their father's (Mohd Azlan Bin Jamal) recipe of Nasi Kandar. Their signature dishes are the 叁峇墨鱼 Sotong Kembang Masak Sambal (Squid Sambal), 黑牛肉Daging Hitam (Black Beef), 墨鱼蛋 Sotong Telur (Squid Egg), and 黄姜炸鸡 Ayam Goreng Kunyit (Tumeric Fried Chicken).
Today I am trying their Squid Egg and Squid Sambal, the Egg is definitely an acquired taste; the meal comes with the usual Nasi Kandar flooded with all kinds of gravies making it difficult to distinguish any taste other than curry and sambal. All in, an interesting experience of this famous cuisine from the state of Kedah.
