Thoughts: 沙瑪瓦 Shawarma is a popular street food throughout the 阿拉伯世界 Arab world and the 大中東 Greater Middle East. Shawarma is said be have originated in the 黎凡特地區 Levant region of the Arab world during the 奧斯曼帝國 Ottoman Empire, the cuisine (maybe more to street food) consist of 肉切成薄片 meat cut into thin slices, 堆疊成倒錐形 stacked in an inverted cone, and 烘烤 roasted on a 緩慢轉動的垂直烤架上 slowly turning vertical rotisserie or spit. Traditionally made with 羊肉 lamb or mutton, it may also be made with 雞肉 chicken, 牛肉 beef or 小牛肉 veal. AND USJ4's "Chef Ammar Xpress Souk Café" offers both Chicken and Lamb Shamarwa. The main Meats dish are prepared by cutting thin slices to shaved off from the cooked surface of the layers meats on the inverted cone as it continuously rotates. Looks like 皮塔麵包 Pita bread or 墨西哥玉米餅 Mexican Tortillas are used as the wrapper; but first, the tortillas are warmed on the flat hot stove, then garnished with 蔬菜 vegetables and 泡菜 pickles, topped with the Shamarwa meats and finally choice of 辣椒醬和 chili sauce and 蒜蓉醬 garlic sauce!

The Half-shop lot in USJ4 is managed by a Chef from Syria who has been in Malaysia for 5 years with his now 6 years old daughter, he also has a helper whom he hired from Yemen.
