The restaurant "圆方茶室3YUAN FONG 3 KOPITIAM" is likely one of several branches of the F&B; here in Bandar Puteri, it looks like a 2 shop-lot setup with fully air-conditioning and maybe over 30 tables.

The restaurant "圆方茶室3YUAN FONG 3 KOPITIAM" is likely one of several branches of the F&B; here in Bandar Puteri, it looks like a 2 shop-lot setup with fully air-conditioning and maybe over 30 tables.
The colorful menu looks to come with quite extensive choices of western, local, and Chinese dishes including Egg-Bread-Coffee & Tea, Sandwiches (including croissant), Nasi Lemak (with many choices including pork luncheon meat), Old-style Rice bowl with pork lard or Chinese sausage, a good variety of noodles (fried or wet or curry etc), and some Ala-Carte small bite choices!
Today's breakfast was a rm$11.90 "叉燒豬油渣飯 Bbq pork Crispy pork lard rice" comes in a old-style Chinese porcelain bowl. Inside the bowl was white rice with sweet and savory charsiew in dark sauce, generous amounts of crunchy pork lard, topped with a fried egg and some green onions.
Crunchy pork lards are sometimes used as a final topping to many noodle dishes like the KL black Hokkien Mee ("Dai Look Mee"), or sometimes topping to the Charsiew Wanton Mee, or other Noodles dishes like the KL style Pork noodles. The add-on gives that crunchy flavor and bite to the KL noodle dishes. Today's rice bowl with pork lard at least comes with some flavorful charsiew; but the traditional rice bowl comes with only the crunchy pork lard. The classic 豬油渣飯 Crunchy pork lard rice topped with pork lard oil is a classic dish found in Taiwanese cuisines; however, not too common in Malaysian F&B.
