Inspired by science fiction films of maybe the 70s and 80s, they created a café/bar that is stirringly nostalgic while at the same time presenting a high ceiling with a wide-open space of futuristic interior decorations.

"Kara Kara" is a bar/cafe located in one of the refurbished warehouse in Pengkalan Weld, Penang. Accessing to the bar is from a back alley into the warehouse compound, and before the wooden door entrance are a silver sculpture, a face painting, a small tree pot and an old wooden window. The interiors are decorated with more silver sculptures with the changing lightings in the evenings that promises the customer with a daytime Zen and nighttime Yotta (bar) experience.
