Thoughts: Wondering around 蒲種 Puchong area for lunch take-away, this town is much bigger with longer history than Subang USJ. Puchong town is located at the 八打靈再也區南部 Southern part of Petaling Jaya District, and here is also the location of one of the oldest Village which has existed since the 英國殖民地時代 British era, which is about 1915 and was named 蒲種十四哩新村 Kampung Batu 14, Puchong because the distance of this village from 吉隆坡 Kuala Lumpur "舊巴生路 Old Klang Road" is only 14 miles. This village is said to be famous for its good racial relations between the 馬來人 Malays- 華人 Chinese- 印度人 Indians- 原住民 Orang Asli (Rasau Tribe).
Some history papers describe the original inhabitants in this village is actually from Indonesia's Sumatra and Jawa where in the early 1900s, they came here to worked in 橡膠種植園 rubber plantations, as well as the many 錫礦 Tin Ore Mining ran by the British Colony. Many migrants from China, India, and Pakistan also came to Puchong for work opportunities in Rubber Plantations and British Tin Mines. The village also become one of the many settlements called "新村 Kampung Baru" with 2-layer 帶刺的柵欄 barbed fences and with only 1 entry and 1 exit point during the "緊急時期 Emergency Period or Darurat" after 第二次世界大戰 WWII, as step that British had to take in order to control the villagers from supporting 共產主義組織 communist organizations.
蒲種漢明國民型華文學校 Sekolah Rendah Cina Han Ming was founded in 1921, and this 100-year old school is still in operation today. In fact, today I parked my car at a field just opposite the school for the take-away Yong Tao Fu from "馳名鄉村釀豆腐專賣店 Restoran Kampung Yong Tau Fu". And you can still see the 1 entry and 1 exit "蒲種十四哩新村 Kampung Batu 14, Puchong" entry "拱門 Arch way" just before the Chinese school.
This particular 新村 Kampung Baru must be popular for its 釀豆腐 Yong Tau Fu, as along Jalan Puchong Batu 14 are already at least 3 Yong Tao Fu shops (all within 100-200m apart):

"馳名鄉村釀豆腐專賣店 Restoran Kampung Yong Tau Fu" offers fresh Yong Tau Fu, where customer choose the items like 羊角豆 lady finger, 辣椒 chili, 豆腐皮 bean curd, 豆卜 tau pok, 白豆腐 white tofu, etc (at least 25 - 30 types) to be filled with fish paste and cook make-to-order for the customer. The restaurant only offers white rice (no chee cheong fun here).
