Thoughts: For rm$2.40, this is one tasty Onigiri called "日本香鬆(振り掛け)飯糰 Furikake Onigiri", and just a single one is good for either breakfast or lunch. The Furikake mixed well inside the Rice Ball and really quite good. 
Fun Facts: Furikake (振り掛け / ふりかけ) is a 干日本調味 dry Japanese condiment to be sprinkled on top of cooked 米飯 rice, 蔬菜 vegetables, and 魚 fish, or used as an ingredient in 飯糰 onigiri. It typically consists of a mixture of 乾魚 dried fish, 芝麻 sesame seeds, 切碎的海藻 chopped seaweed, 糖 sugar, 鹽 salt, and 味精 monosodium glutamate.
In Japan, 振り掛け Furikake became popular when it was mass produced by Nissin Foods after WWII when product was commercialized on the basis that it provided a good source of protein and calcium. 振り掛け Furikake was also widely dispensed to Japanese military during the World War II. However, this interesting condiment was invented 110 years ago during the Taishō period (1912–1926) by a 藥劑師 pharmacist in Kumamoto prefecture named 吉丸末吉 Suekichi Yoshimaru. Yoshimaru developed a mixture of 磨碎的魚骨 ground fish bones with 烤芝麻 roast sesame seeds, 罌粟種子 poppy seeds, and 海藻 seaweed that was made into a powder to address 鈣缺乏 Calcium deficits in the Japanese population. He called this product ご飯の友 Gohan no Tomo ("A Friend for Rice") and is generally considered the precursor to contemporary 振り掛け Furikake.
