Thoughts: USJ10's Ratha's Express open for Dine-in this week from Monday 12th September, and this week does look like quite a few eateries in USJ started Dine-in possibly, and traffic in Taipan has also become much busier than before. The country is now at 56.8% inoculation, and vaccination rate at a daily 220K+ 7-day average which is a far cry from the daily 450K - 500K new daily doses in early August last month. And the country is ranked 21 in the world with over 2 million Covid cases which is about 16% of the 32 million population, and Daily new cases at above 16K and 17K+ these few days. In early march this year, Malaysia maintains a target of vaccinating 80% of population by Feb 2022 despite early doubts by certain quarters; and the Math based on the current 220K daily vaccination rate if maintained, looks to be a highly plausible target! And perhaps by that time or before that, as what Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said people will "likely" need a third dose of a Covid-19 vaccine within 12 months of getting fully vaccinated.Ratha's Raub began its operation in Pahang's Raub in 1981 by an Indian couple Mr. Rathakrishnan and his wife Saroja, with its first location in Raub called "Restoran Ratha Raub" 40 years ago and lots of good reviews for its famous Ratha Raub’s 咖哩雞 Curry Chicken & 咖哩魚頭 Fish Head Curry.

Today's breakfast is Ratha's rm$2 fluffy "印度煎餅 Roti Canai" and rm$3.50 (previously was rm$2.90) "印度拉茶 Teh Tarik", more expensive compared to other Mamak or Indian restaurants in USJ. Raths's Express's new menu is now all Ala-Carte only and without the "slight cheaper" breakfast set previously that comes with hot drinks. Ratha's 煎餅 Roti Canai is a likable thin fluffy type with slightly "thin" mild spicy curry and dhal source while the expensive 拉茶 Teh Tarik is strong and sweet. The restaurant still maintains a bright, clean, and well social distancing tables.
Previous visit to Ratha's Express, did liked Ratha's "著名的勞勿椰漿飯 Famous Raub Nasi Lemak". And maybe should try their Signature Dishes of 勞勿咖哩魚頭 Raub Fish Head Curry, 勞勿咖哩雞 Raub Curry Chicken, 炸雞 Fried Chicken, 瓦煲印度香飯 Claypot Briyani, 瓦煲羊肉咖哩 Claypot Mutton Curry, and 炸羊肉 Fried Lamb. Also coming soon in their new menu are 印度"蝦料"黄豆饼 Vadai Udang, 印度囉雜 Rojak, 蝦油條 Cucur Udang, and 椰子炸香蕉冰淇淋 Fried Banana Ice Cream with Coconut.
