Thoughts: 2nd visit to SS15's Q Bistro, maybe lesser customer today (Wesak day) and service was very satisfactory today. From order to food on the table as well as a request to thicken the teh tarik was acceptably good and satisfactory.
The 2 thumbs up recommended items in their menu: Roti Prata was nice, crunchy and excellent thick dhal. I'd say that Roti Prata and Roti Canai are really the same thing whether its appearance or the taste. It does seem that Southern Peninsular Malaysia like that in Johor Bahru and in Singapore that its common to refer Roti Canai as Roti Prata! So, our Roti Canai is not known in India but it is said to be a variation of the Indian flat-bread dish called Parotta! Interestingly, the word "Roti Canai" may have been derived from "Roti" (a Sanskrit word) + "Chennai" (which is an Indian city formerly known as Madras)!
Puri was expected to be oily (quite expensive at rm$5) although it came with curry potato.
