Thoughts: 888美食中心 Medan Selera 888 at Klang's Taman Eng Ann offers typical chinese hawker style food for breakfast and lunch. There seems to be some hawkers still operating in the evening: Noodles, Indian Goreng Goreng and Satay but night time is also where 888海鲜大炒 offers Dai Chao from around 6pm to mid-night!
Don't expect ambiance nor air-conditioned here, no menu as well. Nevertheless, pictures of possible dishes can be ordered can be seen as a huge banner. Service wan't smooth as the "Captain" take the order does not seem to know what to recommend. One thing about Dai Chao dishes are that there should all come almost at the same time but here there seem to be at least an interval of 10 minutes each before the 3rd and 4th dish arrive on the table!
I'd rate the food at best average! 腌菜炒肉 Pickled vegetables fried meat was an interesting dish from 云南 Yun Nan; 腌菜 is a type of pickled vegetables common in Yun Nan and typically spicy and sour, it was a popular ingredient for home cook meals. The 非洲鱼姜蓉蒸 Minced Ginger Steam Tilapia wan't too bad but does not seem to fresh. The other dishes were quite a disappointment.
888美食中心 Medan Selera 888 is an open space build up area with "Atap" roof, located front-facing the trunk road to Jalan Kasawari 8, just opposite the "Caring Pharmacy" shop. Parking is usually possible in the evenings along Jalan Kasawari 8.
For benefit of doubt, perhaps the dishes ordered weren't their specialty or it the Chef wasn't in a good mood that evening! Try it youself.
