Thoughts: Visiting Farmer's Bar's 2nd location, interestingly I'd say seems a little oddly opened at a remote shop lot at Cyberjaya at "The Place" which is an integrated residential cum retail property, which is really just next to Lim Kok Weng Univeristy. A lot of options to reach here, either via MEX, Puchong LDP, or ELITE (all with a price)!
Because of the Uni, parking along the road leading to "The Place" is impossible, but private parking within the property costs rm$2 (for the first 2 hours). "The Place" seems to be quite EMPTY with very few retail occupancy; Farmer's Bar is located 1 floor above (via the escalator). According to the young man who is running the bar, there aren't too many customers either afternoon or evening except maybe in the weekends.
Similar to the decoration at the Puchong branch, there are several fridge filled with craft beer from Asia (Japan), Europe, and the US and maybe some other countries in Central or South America (not sure), at least over 100 types of Craft Beers.
First Craft Beer of the day was the Chop Shop Pale Ale at 4.7%ABV, brewed by an Australian Brewery called Stockade Brew Co. based in Sydney (since 2018 as part of Tribe Breweries). The Beer Bottle show case a Mechanic welding a muscle-Car on its label signalling a beer that will be tough and no-nonsense. I'd agree that the American Pale Ale style beer is a bold drink, with 4.5%ABV and 30 IBUs, not too bitter but packs a punch.
2nd Craft Beer before hitting the road was the Founders Centennial IPA, is an American Style IPA brewed by Founders Brewing Company in the United States. For me, its a very strong IPA at 7.2% ABV and at a high 65 IBUs, a somewhat in my opinion still a pleasing bitter after taste with just a tiny hint of sweet taste.
Not sure will be visiting Farmer's Bar at Cyberjaya again since there is one at Puchong and hopefully the new location at Subang Parade will be operating soon after the Raya!
