油炸凤尾鱼配香肠 Fried Anchovies w/Sausage $15 👍👍😋😋
Kronenbaug $15 😐😐
Connors Daught $15 👍😋
Asahi Super Dry (bottle) $15 👍👍😋😋
Budget: MYR$60++ food & drinks
Thoughts: SS 2's road 60 spots at least 3-5 drinking places. One of them is calledthe MenuScript Restaurant, with Philipinos running the show and likely Chinese owner! The draught beers are the usual at exceptable price although cheaper would be nice. But the Asahi Super dry in a bottle was excellent; to accompany the beer, ordered the "Fried Anchovies w/Sausage" which is basically Nachos (or Tortilla chips) with lots of cheese plus cucumber, tomate cubes, onions slices and fried sausage crumbles. A good choice for beer, but the Philipino waiter recommended the popular customer order which is "Saled egg Lotus", maybe next time!
Not many customers on weekdays from Monday to Wednesdays! But if you like the crowd it will the towards Friday and the Weekends, according to the waiter for Philipines who has been working here for 5 years. The bar offers around a dozen choices of bites as beer partners at around $12-$25, good for sharing but too much for one person. Nice place, quiet on weekdays and good service.
