Thoughts: Just opposite Parkview Hotel on St.Kilda Road, Rosco's Chevron Cafe & Bar offers Italian cuisines such as Pasta and other Western choices. For dinner, I had the "Fettuccine Pollo Funghi", the dish comes with Fettuccine with lots of chicken cubes (too much) as well as mushrooms is a very creamy pesto sauce. Price was $15 for small and $18 for an extra-size. A Heavy meal, can't even finish the chicken cubes! FYI, Fettuccine (or "little ribbons") in Italian is a type of pasta popular in Roman and Tuscan cuisine. It is a flat thick pasta made of egg and flour.
Instead of beer, it's wine (sparkling wine!) by Zilzie Winery, which is Australian brand from the King Valley, or King River Valley where it is a wine-producing and agricultural region centred on the King River in the North East Victoria zone of the Australian state of Victoria. I don't know much about wine but this is an "easy drinking" one and I thought was a good choice to go with the pasta meal.
