23.02.2017 Dinner
@ Al Safir Hotel, Bahrain
Building 670, Road 2411, Block 324، Juffair, Manama 324
Eat Buffet Dinner (自助晚餐)
Pic1: Arabic Salad
Pic2: Mushroom Rice, Beef Kebab, Grilled Fish, Barbecue Chicken
Pic3: Barbecue Chicken
Pic4: Beef Kebab
Pic5: Desserts
Pic6: Hot Carrot Halwa
Thoughts: I like the Beef Kebab, it was like minced Kebab Patties but wished it comes with some sauce, still it was very nice. Similar to the Barbecue Chicken (in someone seems familiar chicken cooking 卤鸡), I think. Both are nice (Pic 3 and Pic 4)
The carrot halwa is hot, but as usual too sweet for me and so I just take few little spoons to try the taste. Interestingly Carrot halwa, also known as gajar ka halwa, is an unusual Indian dessert. It's made with grated carrots, whole milk, dried fruit, and nuts, and it has a delicious light fudgey texture. Traditionally served at Indian festivals and in temples, this classic dessert is a favorite in Indian households during Diwali.
One thing about the dessert here is there are really pretty to look at, so I get some for a picture and bite a little bit and left it there (quite wasteful), I think the cakes are quite photogenic.
