Thoughts: How interesting to be listening to Islamic history for almost 1.5 hours in a mosque. And at the end of the day even give free islamic prints.
And in explaining to me, I keep hearing this 1 lakh 24 messengers which I googled seems 124,000 messengers of God ! and the last messenger was prophet Mohammed! Other messengers are Jesus, Buddha, etc! The whole experience was interesting! And the explanation also goes with Jesus was mentioned 24 times more than Mohammed in one of the Chapters in the Quran!
And the story also goes that Abraham had 2 sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. The 2 sons are Isaac and Ishmeal. For Muslims, Abraham is a prophet of Islam and the ancestor of Muhammad through his other son Ishmael. And some how Jesus is related from the ancestry of Issac from Abraham! I have no idea, but I remembered it like that from the explanations. So, if like that then they are are brothers lor !
Anyway, all that had transpired this morning at the mosque seems too interesting to be true !
