Thoughts: Last having a rm$24.90 海南鸡排 Hainanese Chicken Chop rm$24.90 and rm$13.90 嘉士伯 Carlsberg Draft at the "OLD" Coliseum Café at KL"s Jalan TAR (The original location of Coliseum) was 13.01.2019 which was 3 years ago. But somewhere in March or June 2021, Coliseum Café, which had stood the test of time over the last century, was closing its doors permanently due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The 100 year iconic 殖民地餐廳 Colonial restaurant, opened in 1921 in 東姑阿都拉曼路 Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman in the heart of the city center, this historic eatery served 海南西式烹飪 Hainanese Western-style cooking and 殖民時代的食物 colonial-era food. Nevertheless, three other Coliseum Café outlets in 巴生谷 Klang Valley are still in operation as of today:

Unlike Coliseum Café at Jalan TAR which offers a section for "Halal" Western food and another "Non-Halal" section for Coffee and Beer; the 谷中城美佳廣場 Mid Valley location only offers FOOD. The "海南雞扒 Hainanese Chicken Chop" at the same price of rm$24.90 (as of 3 years ago at Jalan TAR location) comes with the same presentation and concoction of a 海南炸雞配酸甜醬 Hainanese Fried chicken topped with sweet and sour sauce, 薯條 fries, and 綠豆 green beans albeit a slight drop of quality! For dessert, the rm$7.90 "香蕉油條配香草冰淇淋 Banana Fritters w/Vanilla Ice Cream" was well worth it, didn't realize that 冰淇淋 Ice Cream can go that well with 炸香蕉 Banana Fritters!
Probably worth sampling at Coliseum Café are the rm$21.90 "牛尾湯 Oxtail Soup" and at least 7 choices of either 澳洲 Australian or 阿根廷 Argentina 進口牛肉 imported Beef choices from rm$70.90 to rm$87.90!
On a separate note, there are still many slightly more affordable or comparable F&B in KL China Town that offers 復古風格 Retro style dining experience in 舊殖民建築 Old Colonial buildings in KL that are worth visiting are (all within walking distance from 茨廠街 Jalan Petaling):

Another Colonial style Café in KL that is worth visiting at least once is the "Colonial Café" in Majestic Hotel (under YTL Hotels) which is opposite the 吉隆坡舊火車站 Old KL Railway Station. The Café offers a "海南雞扒 Hainanese Chicken Chop" (at rm$80 per serving), an 牛尾湯 Oxtail Soup is at rm$40, and I believe (last checked) that Wine and Beer are available; so that's a budget of at least rm$100 - rm$150 or more.
As far as "海南雞扒 Hainanese Chicken Chop" is concerned, old timer 鎰記茶餐室 kopitiam Yut Kee is famed for its 海南雞扒 Hainanese chicken chop. The restaurant has a history almost as long as the Coliseum Café and has been serving up traditional Hainanese fare since 1928. the 94 years old 鎰記 Yut Kee is also famed for its 豬肉麵包 Roti Babi & 海南豬排 Hainanese Pork Chop. There are probably more under the radar good 海南雞扒 Hainanese chicken chop to be discovered in Klang Valley. Food today: 7.5 / 10 👍👍👍😋😋
