Thoughts: Here is yet another Japanese food franchise with sushi plates of rm$1.80 or rm$2.80; similar in price range as Sushi Mentai. In fact, the same owner in USJ 9 previously as Sushi Mentai has recently switched over to take up the Sushi ZenS franchise. Bento sets are mostly just chicken and seafood with prices from rm$15+ to rm$25+.
The same owner didn't change too much of the interior, just the name change from Sushi Mentai to Sushi ZenS. Due to Covid social distancing restrictions, maybe only 10-12 tables are available for dine-in and no conveyer service offered. The husband and wife team, one taking care of the kitchen and another behind the cashier.
Today's rm$16.80 "三文魚頭定食 Salmon Head Bento set" comes with a boney fish head, with 冷奴 Hiyayakko (Cold tofu) topped with 鰹節 bonita flakes, 日式蒸蛋 chawanmushi, 味噌湯 miso soup, and rice on the side.
