Thoughts: "Kapten Corner" is the creation of Mr.Azrin, a retrenched pilot behind the viral "Kapten Corner stall " in "Boom Town Cafe" in USJ11, all due to COVID-19's impact on the aviation industry. Azrin has 20+ years in the Aviation industry and had flown for MAS, Malindo Air, Firefly, and Lion Air. From the aircraft cockpit to the cooking pot, the 44 year old still hoping that one day the Airline industry will come back to normalcy!

"Kapten Corner" offers 4 items of rm$7 each which are 水果羅惹 Rojak Buah, 北馬叻沙 Laksa Utara, 清湯米粉 Bihun Sup, and 怡保咖哩面 Mee Kari Ipoh. Today's lunch is the "怡保咖喱面 Mee Kari Ipoh or Ipoh Curry Mee". On fridays, customer also get a free little bowl of "Tong Sui". The Ipoh Curry Mee comes with 黄面 yellow noodle, 魚餅 fish cake, 雞蛋 boiled egg, and a few 脆餅乾 crispy crackers in a sea of thick curry broth.
Unlike many other stalls which starts the daily operation around 4 or 5pm until mid-night; "Kapten Corner" offers from lunch onwards until the days portions are sold out. The stall stands at the corner of the outdoor open-air "Boom Town Cafe", and maybe around 10-12 tables are available for dine-in, and surprising not really that hot as the tables are under shady trees. Parking on road shoulders is the usual norm in this part of USJ, and towards the evenings will be challenging as this is a popular dining spot for all Malaysians.
