Thoughts: There are 3 dining choices at PJ Seksyen 16's Eastin Hotel; a Japanese restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, and a Cafe called "Swez Brasserie".
Swez Brasserie offers lunch or dinner mini buffet for rm$45, depending on the crowd, the chef will prepare either Malay, Chinese or more Western type buffet items (today was Malay food because Kementerian Pendidikan is having seminar here at the Hotel).
Ala Carte menu also available, I am having Pan fried Salmon with Pasta on the side; wasn't impressed. There are 8 Mains in the menu from rm$48 - rm$80, not a set meal, just the dish only. For the taste, portion, and presentation, its quite a steep price!
For coffee, went for an Adventurous Liqueur Coffee French style which is Grand Marnier! From what I see in the Web, the Grand Marnier coffee sounds like an interesting recipe but the one prepared here by the Barista of Swez Brasserie did not give a good impression of the Coffee.
Does coffee and alcohol mix well together? For rm$30 of the Grand Marnier at Eastin Hotel, I wished it could have given me a first good impression of Liqueur Coffee, quite unfortunate!
