Thought: Lebuh Melayu and Carnarvon Road (near Lebuh Chulia) areas are famous for several different Koay Teow Th'ng stalls and other hawker stalls, each with its own distinct flavour. Today for dinner is at Lebuh Melayu where the hawker stalls starts operations daily from around 5:30pm or 6pm to around mid-night. 

This particular hawker stall which has a 40 + years or more history offers:

Customer can have their bowl of Chicken noodle soup on make-shift tables along the walk ways of the shop lots where the hawker stall sits at almost the junction of Lebuh Melayu and Beach Street. AND you will have to order a drink from another stall which sets up the tables!  From twilight to later in the night, encompassing dinner time and post-work winding down, is where this particular spot gets busy with customers and Karaoke from the "Rukun Tetangga" community house just opposite the Kway Teow Tn'ng hawker stall.
