Hoshiki Japanese Izakaya opened its first location in PJ's SS20 in Damansara 2 years ago (2023), receives positive reviews for its cozy, Japanese-themed ambiance, great for hangouts, featuring signature charcoal-grilled kushiyaki (skewers), fresh sashimi, tasty kushiyaki, with strong points being fresh ingredients, friendly staff, and good vibes, and it's praised as a solid spot for authentic Japanese bar food. 

AND likely USJ10 is the second location which opened sometime October or November 2025, opened for lunch from Noon, dinner and should be the only Japanese eatery in USJ10 that offers Japanese food and beer until 12 midnight. The new Japanese restaurant in Taipan offers an extensive choices of "共享餐盤 shared plates" of both 蔬菜 vegetables, 肉類 meats AND several pages of 牛肉串燒 Beef, 海鮮串燒 Seafood, 雞肉串燒 Chicken, 豬肉串燒 Pork, and 蔬菜串燒 vegetable Kushiyaki skewers; all should go well with Beer, Sake or Korean Soju.
